SERIES 28 - Episode 17 Tino visits Risdon Prison in Tasmania to see the productive garden program The 600 square metre garden is housed inside the prison complex. It was started in 2011 and is filled with fruit, herbs and vegies.

Prisoners at Risdon are involved in all of the day to day running of the garden. They develop horticultural skills through partnerships with Tasmanian TAFE and community gardening groups.

Produce grown by the prisoners is collected by the charity group Second Bite and distributed to people and families in need, all over Tasmania.
